Construction of new production facility plus re-development of existing fire damaged factory at C&D Foods, Edgeworthstown.
Summary of the works include:
- Site Clearance consisting of removal of existing reinforced concrete floors pad & striped reinforced existing foundations & contaminated sub-soil.
- New pad foundation plus strip foundations
- Erection of structural steel frame
- Infill perimeter cast insitu concrete walls
- Internal stainless steel & ABS effluent drainage c/w stainless steel floor channels & gullies
- Normal storm water drainage
- 200mm ground floor slab to falls
- 200mm concrete mezzanine floor on metal deck
- 125mm thick food safe Europanels to external wall cladding & 90mm Kingspan roof cladding.
- 75mm Food safe ceilings & claddings to all steel columns, beams etc.
- All exposed steel work 60/60 fire protection with intumescent paint
- Floor finishes (Larsens)
- 200mm concrete yard
- New effluent treatment work.
- New external tarmac works approx 2500m²
- Refurbishment of existing offices & reception area
