GEM Construction & GEM Joinery have been successful in retaining our ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 accreditations for our Integrated Management Systems. We successfully passed our surveillance audit in January 2020. The auditing and certification body was NSAI. Well done to all the GEM staff for their efforts both in our office's and site management teams to maintain our accreditations. We are committed to maintaining superior quality, safety and environmental management performance on all of our projects and company activities now and in the future!

A huge congrats to all those involved in getting the Knockrabo project to this stage, and continues success for the rest of the project!

GEM Constructions are excited to announce that going forward we will be carrying out monthly site safety briefings, along with awarding one Sub-Contractor from each GEM site (from our EHS Officers viewpoint!)  believed to be incentivising good behaviour and being safety conscious with the aim of making sites as safe as possible.

GEM Group are delighted to be ranked #30 in this years CIF top 50 contractors list.

The development comprises of 7, 3 storey houses arranged to form 2 sides of a private Town Square. A large basement contains private garaging for each house and for visitors. Enclosed front gardens are bound by wrought iron railings and open directly to the Town Square space.

The site is off Mount Anvill Road, within Knockrabo Housing Estate. The project consists of a residential development in four blocks, over two basements, comprising 69 high end residential units, with associated communal, storage and ancillary spaces. The blocks are grouped A&B, C&D, each set over basement.

In June 2018 GEM celebrated a special milestone, our 40th Year Anniversary.

On 16th June, in honour of 40 Years in business GEM organised a weekend away in Kilkea Castle for all staff, shareholders & original Founders Pat Fay & Brian Loughran.

Celebrations included Daytime Activities followed by Gala Dinner & Presentations.

A great day & evening was enjoyed by all.
