C&D Foods European HQ Office Fitout
Here at GEM Group we pride ourselves on delivering customer satisfaction of the highest order.
Our team of experts is committed to working closely with our clients to make sure that their projects are completed to the highest standards available, on time and within budget. This is what sets us apart from the rest – putting our customers first, every step of the way.
As such, we were delighted to be awarded the contract for C&D Foods new European headquarters at Marlinstown Business Park in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. We were contracted to carry out the complete project management and complete turnkey fit out for the new HQ from the existing shell, to develop a 1,000 square metre bespoke office space. This included office space for executive management and heads of department, together with conference facilities, breakout canteen areas, general facilities and a reception area.
On the Road to Success
C&D Foods is one of Ireland’s great success stories of recent decades, founded in 1969 as a family business and initially focusing on supplying private label tinned pet food in Ireland and the UK. In 2008, C&D joined forces with the ABP Food Group to become one of the largest private label pet food producers in Europe, supplying supermarket and retail chains across the continent.
With seven production facilities in six European locations to service, it was vital to fast track the programme and provide C&D with a headquarters fit for the job. The work included:
- Design and installation of all ICT services
- Provision of electronic and video conferencing facilities
- Bespoke joinery solutions (which were manufactured in house by GEM)
- Bespoke furniture, including fittings and fixtures in both the canteen and executive coffee breakout areas
- Bespoke desking in offices, conference rooms and reception area
- Fully integrated communications controls
- Soft and loose furnishings chosen from the Bene range
- Storage areas to all offices
Customer Satisfaction Guaranteed
We invited C&D to collaborate closely on each stage of the project to ensure an enhanced level of customer satisfaction on every detail of the new Headquarters. Our commitment to providing sustainable solutions resulted in the environmental, social and economic benefits to both the client and the wider community.
