The Irish Ladies Golf Union of Ireland needed an operational new Head Office, the fit-out for which had to be completed on the third floor of an existing operational building.

A New Head Office for a Historic Organisation

Founded in 1893, the Irish Ladies Golf Union is the governing body for female golf in Ireland and is the oldest Ladies Golf Union in the world. When their previous offices at Conemaugh became far too cramped, the members voted to spend €4 million on a new headquarters in Sandyford Industrial Estate, which with an area of 4,300 square feet would give them the space they needed for meetings and administration. The premises, located in Furze Road, required a completely new fit-out.

GEM installed new metal plaster ceilings and walls with prefabricated glazed screens, dividing the space to create meeting rooms, a reception area, offices and facilities.

Electrical installations included ventilation and specialist lighting.
